Assistant/Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Texas Woman’s University
The Department of Visual Arts seeks a candidate to lead the Graphic Design area, which includes degrees on the undergraduate and graduate levels. Qualifications include a terminal degree (MFA, MDes, or PhD) in Graphic Design, or related fields.
Experience including graduate teaching, as well as a record of client work, exhibitions, publications, and/or any other peer-reviewed accomplishments for intellectual endeavors, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will employ new technologies, alongside traditional approaches, and have the ability to teach courses on all levels of undergraduate teaching (foundation/core, intermediate, advanced concentration, cross-disciplinary, and special topics), graduate teaching (seminars, independent studies, theory and practice), and online, as well as train and supervise graduate students and other faculty in the area.
