The Department of Interactive Media at Bradley at Bradley University seeks a dynamic individual to help establish a game art program to join our existing nationally ranked and award- winning Animation, Game Design, and User Experience design programs. This position is a 3-year renewable, non-tenure track appointment that begins August 2019

The successful candidate will be able to teach students the process of developing 2D and 3D game art assets. The candidate must also be able to integrate these game art assets into a game engine. Experience in at least one of the following video game art subdisciplines is desired: environment art, prop art, character art, in-game vfx, concept art, and animation. Experience in more than one of these subdisciplines is preferred.

An appointment at the rank of assistant professor requires an appropriate terminal degree (MFA, PhD, etc.). An appointment at the rank of instructor-in-residence requires a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree and substantial professional experience.

Professional experience and college-level teaching experience is preferred. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
