Assistant/Associate Professor of 3D Art Practices and 3D Digital Technologies at Oregon State University

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop a successful undergraduate program in 3D art practices and 3D digital technologies. SAC is seeking an artist with competencies in some, if not all, of the following: 3D modeling software, CNC tools, rapid prototyping, and hybrid processes; in addition to basic and advanced studio procedures, including metal fabrication, welding and wood working practices.

By embracing art, design, technology, and purpose, art can make real change at OSU as we work to create an interdisciplinary space for the arts. SAC seeks creative scholars with active, substantial, and substantive exhibition records to build a tradition of excellence in the School of Arts and Communication.

The position is a 1.0 FTE, 9-month appointment. Salary is commensurate with experience and benefits are competitive. The tenure line will be in the School of Arts and Communication with a home in Art.
