BOT_ISH – Ely Center of Centemporary Art
BOT_ISH is an unjuried exhibition about touch and tech.
From “Siri” in our pockets and “Alexa” in our homes awaiting questions and interaction, to the ethics of coding and the systems of self-driving cars, we ask: how are robots working both in tandem with and in spite of the human body?
This exhibition calls all culture producers and all genders—artists, writers, thinkers, makers-to participate with work that addresses issues of consent, gender, equity, health, spirituality and identity.
About:
The Ely Center of Contemporary Art’s mission is to reaffirm Grace Ely’s testamentary wishes for an art center where artists, arts organizations, and the public assemble, exchange, learn, and engage through exhibitions, performances, and emerging contemporary practice.
