The New Media Caucus invites New Media Caucus members to join our committees. This gives members an opportunity to take an active role in our organization, and contribute to our initiatives. There are many opportunities for engagement in our community, and for professional development through participation in it. Through their increased engagement in the organization over time, committee members often evolve their roles in the organization, becoming members of the Board of Directors, or Officers of the organization.
The following committees are seeking new members:
Events and Exhibitions
Members of the Events and Exhibitions Committee coordinate the NMC panels workshops and NMC Showcase at the annual CAA conference (New York City February, 2019). The Committee also facilitates the organization of regional and online meet ups, events and exhibitions. In 2019, the committee will also be instrumental in organizing a stand-alone NMC conference.

Media-N is the journal of the NMC. Media-N Committee members, also known as the Editorial Board, serve as the journal’s primary reviewers, and work with the Executive Editor and Managing Editor to shape, solicit and edit Media-N editions, including the annual Conference Edition.

The Finance Committee is responsible for working with the Treasurer to manage budgets, state and federal reporting. The Committee is also the NMC body that spearheads fundraising and grant opportunities. We are looking for members with experience and/or interest in these areas as we establish this new committee.
