Instructor, Animation: Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University

The School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University seeks a full-time 9-month (academic year) Instructor in Animation beginning August 2025. This is a year-to-year position and includes undergraduate teaching on the Tempe Campus.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in animation or closely related field
Demonstrated excellence in teaching in higher education
Demonstrated knowledge of animation principles

Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated evidence of online and hybrid teaching
Demonstrated evidence in teaching across a range of media formats
Knowledge of the innovations and new directions in the animation industry including trends and current issues
