Leonardo, an international community forging a transdisciplinary network at the nexus of art, science, and technology, is looking for a Managing Editor to oversee submissions, peer-review, production, and other operations for Leonardo’s flagship journal and publishing projects with MIT Press. Candidates should have a professional background in academic editing or related fields, fluency with the Chicago Manual of Style, and experience managing teams and volunteers. The salary range is $60k to $75k a year with flexible hours. The position may be remote or based in offices in Oakland, Los Angeles, Tempe, or Washington D.C.
