The Department of Art at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple full-time and/or part-time temporary positions to teach courses in Animation, 3D Modeling and Rendering, and Concept Art starting in Fall 2021 and/or Spring 2022. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth and professional development; and service. Required: Master’s degree in art or a related area; strong professional portfolio of personal and student artwork; teaching experience beyond graduate assistantship preferred; proficiency in related software including Maya, Zbrush, ToonBoom Harmony, Illustrator, etc. Courses may be taught face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online. Teaching online will require successful completion of the Teaching Online Certification Course offered through Kutztown University.
