Submission Deadline Extension – Video Game Art Reader: new deadline March 12th!

Video Game Art Reader is extending the submission deadline for Issue 2 to March 12th at midnight. This is to give anyone who may be interested in submitting an article the additional time to they need polish and revise their work. The theme for the forthcoming issue is Survival Strategy, but any critical works that examine video games through a critical or art historical lens are welcome. The VGA Reader is a peer-reviewed journal for video game audiences and video game practitioners interested in the history, theory, and criticism of video games, explored through the lens of art history and visual culture. Its primary aim is to facilitate exploration and conversation of video game art, documenting and disseminating discourse about the far-reaching influence of video games on history, society, and culture.
